We're a little obsessed with CoolHunting.com and the amazing things they find from all over the world. This week the website brought to our attention the delightful, handmade masks carefully crafted by a Latvian woman named Jevengia Kilupe. These papier-mâché, brightly painted masks, adorned with fur and feathers, range from sweet to comical to creepy and have been used in traditional Latvian celebrations for hundreds of years. The 80 year old Kilupe has been making the masks since the '90's and is considered a master of this ancient and traditional Latvian art form. Check out her Etsy shop to see more of her work and get inspired for Halloween.
