Frencken's unique designs are meticulously hand-crafted and made-to-order. Their whimsical style belies the level of workmanship and attention to detail incorporated into every item. Tom Frencken is a Dutch artist and designer living and working in Eindhoven. After graduating in furniture design from KHM Mechelen in 2007, Tom opened his eponymous studio where he creates his own unique world, always striving to make outstanding and appealing work that is balanced in every way.
kinder MODERN is proud to carry pieces from Tom Frencken's FURNITURE collection, expanding our collection beyond the child-sized and into transitional adult pieces meant to move seamlessly from nursery to playroom and beyond. While each piece may look like it has been put together at random, every angle, inch, and position is deliberately chosen for its perfect stability. In this hand-made collection the pieces are deliberately different, yet always recognizable and familiar.
