kinder MODERN for Mexa Design is an outdoor kids furniture collection infusing the fun and function found in all kinder MODERN design into the traditional craft of Mexican weaving that is the hallmark of Mexa's contemporary style. 

This mini collection encompasses four key pieces - a play tent, rocking planters in multiple sizes, lounge seating and a rocker - for relaxed enjoyment of the outdoors. Taking Mexa’s classic techniques in a new direction, kinder MODERN is injecting a youthful tone by expanding the conventional tube frame and weaving-in matching monochrome cord. These colorful, blown-up designs juxtapose with the natural environment to create a playful family setting.

Working with Mexa has given kinder MODERN the unique opportunity to bring their child-centric lens to the world of outdoor furniture. With this new endeavor kinder MODERN has designed a collection strong in sculptural forms, incorporating the openness of the outdoors into an active place where families - children and grown-ups alike - can gather, play and relax.
