USM + kinder MODERN

An Inspired Connection

This May, during NYCxDesign, kinder MODERN reimagined USM’s Soho showroom with fantastical designs built from the USM Haller system, shown alongside custom furniture and decorative works commissioned by kM from a roster of exciting artists and designers.

This fun and functional collaboration—which takes its design direction from the core of the USM Haller system, the chrome ball joint—invited visitors to reconsider how we connect with each other in public spaces and at home, and devised ways for people of all ages to interact in a colorful and fun environment. Designs built using the USM Haller modular system include a mega-desk, giant pixel art, a mini basketball court, and cascading plant and seating areas. Now all are available for purchase!

Custom furniture pieces commissioned by kM included innovative design furniture for children, and must-haves from USM’s Quick Ship program, and included something for every family, collector and design lover.

Commissioned Artists & Designers:
Buckley, Dusen Dusen, Cody Hoyt, Elyse Graham, Fort Standard, Paul Ketz, Adrian Kay Wong, Diego Faivre, Rodger Stevens, Visser & Meijwaard

with Powerhouse Arts, May Furniture & Uprise Art
